These terms describe the current version of VPublish. They are pending final legal review.
1. The service
VPublish is a private workspace for creating, writing and editing books. You can develop your story, write in chapters, save and compare versions, and import or export Word documents. This version does not publish, distribute or sell books, and does not offer certification, a professionals marketplace or events.
2. Your account
Give accurate information when you create your account, keep your password secure, and let us know if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Your content
You own the books and other material you create or upload. You give VPublish permission to store, process and display that material only as needed to provide the service to you and to the collaborators you invite.
4. Collaborators
When you invite someone to a book, they get the access that comes with the role you choose. You decide who to invite and can end their access.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t use VPublish to break the law, infringe other people’s rights, try to access other people’s accounts or data, or disrupt the service.
6. Fees
This version of VPublish has no paid plans, and we don’t charge for using it.
7. Keeping your work safe
We work to keep VPublish available and your work safe. We still recommend keeping your own copy: you can export your manuscript as a Word document at any time.
8. Suspension and closing your account
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can stop using VPublish at any time and ask us to delete your account.
9. Changes
If we change these terms, we’ll update them here and change the date above.
